The Automotive Service Councils Education Foundation (ASCEF) has awarded 36 scholarships to 33 students for a total of $18,250 in funds.

July 8, 2020—The Automotive Service Councils Education Foundation (ASCEF) has awarded this year's scholarships to aspiring automotive repair students, according to a press release.

According to the release, the foundation awarded 36 scholarships to 33 students for a total of $18,250 in funds. This is the largest amount to date awarded in the foundation's history.

The scholarships range from $500 to $1,000 and are awarded to high school seniors who plan to enroll in technical training or as a college undergrad in the automotive service field.

The 2021 scholarship application opens in October and is due March 31, 2021.
