July 31, 2013—Design Engineering Inc. (DEI) has partnered with Ohio Technical College, sharing expertise and product resources to help students prepare for successful automotive careers.

This private, accredited technical college located in nearby Cleveland, provides a well-rounded education in all major areas of auto mechanics.

“We are excited about this partnership with such a fine college that consistently provides top quality highly prepared technicians and mechanics. Our commitment is to provide products on an as need basis for the college’s project vehicles,” said Steve Garrett, art director and media coordinator at DEI.

Three representatives of DEI, Garrett, Mike Zenone, business development manager, and Dan Stark, technical support and customer service representative, recently visited Ohio Technical College to train instructors on DEI’s thermal and acoustic performance product lines.

The training reinforced how DEI-branded products can be used for custom, race and stock vehicles to enhance audio sound, dampen vibration, improve HP or provide component protection for long-term durability and high performance.

“Our goal is to build excitement about our products, to educate how they can be used for traditional repair to the most technically advanced race vehicle and to support the enthusiasm and growth of the youth in the aftermarket,” Garrett said.
