Shop Owner Offers Vehicle Maintenance Class To Teens

April 13, 2021
The class is designed for newly licensed drivers to learn basic vehicle maintenance.

April 13, 2021—An auto repair shop in Greensboro, N.C., is teaching classes on vehicle maintenance and safety to the surrounding community, Spectrum News reported.

The class is taught by owner of Cox Auto Repair service, Darryl Cox, who said the idea morphed from teaching his son and his friends about car care. Now he offers it to the public through a two-hour class. Cox charges $50 per person.

The class is designed for newly licensed drivers and teaches them how to change a tire, what’s under their hood, how to jump start a car, and other important features in owning a car.
