Dec. 21, 2015—AutoNation Inc. presented a check for $1 million to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) at the first ever AutoNation Cure Bowl at the Orlando Citrus Bowl. The check, which was presented to Myra Biblowit, president and CEO of the BCRF, is the largest monetary donation presented as part of a college Bowl Game.
In 2013, AutoNation shifted its charitable focus to aiding in finding a cure for cancer by increasing the attention placed on research, awareness and preventative measures. AutoNation has raised $5 million for cancer related charities and has committed $1 million to the BCRF to invest in research.
