Feb. 26, 2015—Brake Parts Inc. (BPI) has promoted Barry Jondahl to the position of chief information officer, the company announced this week.

“We would like to congratulate Barry as he transitions to his new role of chief information officer for BPI,” David Overbeeke, president and CEO of BPI, said in a release. “During the two years that he has been with BPI, Barry has been an integral part of the team and has greatly enhanced our company in the areas of IT networking, service desk and ERP functional resources. His expertise will be vital as we continue to build on our technological capabilities and move forward with new systems that will not only help to keep the day-to-day operations of the company running smoothly, but will greatly benefit BPI and our customers as we continue to grow.”

Among Jondahl’s accomplishments at BPI is the successful implementation of a large-scale global Oracle 12.1.3 ERP system that includes financials, manufacturing, shipping, inventory and order management modules, as well as implementation of an Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) reporting system.

Prior to joining BPI in 2012, Jondahl served as the director of systems infrastructure and operations for the Master Lock Company. Jondahl is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
