ASA Midwest Offers Hybrid, Electric Car Class

July 24, 2014—The Automotive Service Association (ASA) Midwest chapter will host a presentation on how servicing hybrid and electric vehicles can add to a shop’s productivity and profits.

The presentation will be held at Ozark Technical College in Springfield, Mo., on Aug. 12. The three hour event will begin at 6 p.m.

The talk, presented by NAPA autotech trainer Jeff Bly, will address how proper maintenance of hybrid or electric vehicles can result in increased profits and higher customer satisfaction often without special tooling or equipment. The class will also address how to to safely take care of the special needs hybrid vehicles come with.

Registration is due by Aug. 8, and the cost of attendance and dinner for ASA-Midwest members is $30. Non member registration costs $35.
