DENSO Opens New Alabama Warehouse

June 27, 2014—DENSO Manufacturing held the grand opening for its new warehouse facility in Montgomery, Ala., on Thursday.

The 103,000-square-foot facility will support heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) storing and shipping. So far, the company has created 30 new jobs with the warehouse opening and plans to add 15 more in the future.

“Today is certainly an exciting day for Montgomery as we celebrate our new partnership with DENSO,” said Leslie Sanders,  Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors chairman. “This new chapter not only signifies more jobs and expanding industry, it also demonstrates once again that world-class companies such as DENSO see Montgomery as a place they want to do business.”

The new $2.2 million warehouse is part of DENSO’s larger expansion plan to invest almost $1 billion in North America over a four-year period.
