June 2, 2014

June 2, 2014—Snap-on Inc. announced recently that it has acquired the assets of Pro-Cut International Inc., a brake equipment manufacturing company.

The acquisition cost about $42 million for the Kenosha, Wis.–based Snap-on Inc., which manufactures tools, software and information and managements systems for dealerships and repair centers, according to a Snap-on release.

“We believe Pro-Cut will be an important addition to our Repair Systems & Information Group and will help us move further along our coherent growth runway of expanding with repair shop owners and managers. We look forward to welcoming Pro-Cut associates to the Snap-on family,” said Nick Pinchuk, Snap-on chairman and CEO.
