March 3, 2014

March 3, 2014—The National Automotive Service Task Force announced Monday the panelists that will serve on the J-2534 Discussion Panel to be held during the association’s Spring 2014 General Meeting on March 20 in Seattle.

Mark Saxonberg, manager of alternative fuel vehicles and environment for Toyota Motor Sales USA, will represent the OEM perspective by addressing the difference between OEMs on their own corporate commitment to J-2534.

Bob Augustin, technical training manager for Christian Brothers Automotive, an auto repair franchise with 125 locations, will discuss the problems created because of a lack of standardization in the J-2534 process across OEMs.

Brian Herron, vice president of Drew Technologies, which specializes in the manufacture of pass-through technology, will represent independent tool makers.

The discussion will be held from 1-4 p.m. PT and will be streamed live from the association’s website, nastf.org.
