CARS 2014 Expected to Double in Size

March 7, 2014

March 7, 2014—More than half of the exhibit show floor space has been sold for the NACE/CARS 2014 trade show, and the show is expected to double in size compared to 2013, event organizer Stone Fort Group announced Thursday.

Dan Risley, executive director of the Automotive Service Association (ASA), said this year’s NACE/CARS show will feature more than 50,000 square feet of exhibit space, and 30,000 square feet of space dedicated to live demonstrations and show cars. He said the event has already sold 20 percent more exhibit space compared to the 24,000 square feet that were sold in 2013.

“This represents a significant change in events and a strong commitment on behalf of the automotive market to support the only national show solely dedicated to both the collision and service repair industries,” Risley said, noting the event is on pace to sell out.

Stone Fort Group said companies that have booked space represent all segments of the collision and mechanical repair markets, including auto manufacturers, paint companies, product suppliers, equipment companies, parts suppliers, information and estimating providers, insurance companies, training organizations, and other industry vendors.

NACE/CARS 2014 will take place July 31–Aug. 2 at the Cobo Center in Detroit. For more event information, visit carsevent.com.
