Continental Expands with New VDO REDI-Sensor

May 23, 2014

May 23, 2014—Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket released a new variant for its multi-application TPMS sensor program.

Continental, a worldwide tire pressure monitoring systems, replacement parts and vehicle tires manufacturer, has four VDO REDI-Sensor products that can now replace over 200 OE sensors on a wide range of domestic, Asian and European vehicles. The new 315 MHz sensor, part number SE10003, adds greater coverage for Audi, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Volvo, GM truck (“PWM”), Subaru and other Asian models.

Steve Landis, Continental product manager, said REDI-Sensor is ready to use immediately with no sensor programming or cloning steps, and it is designed to follow the existing OE vehicle relearn procedures.
