University of the Aftermarket Foundation Elects New Officers for 2015

Nov. 11, 2014—The University of the Aftermarket Foundation board of trustees has elected new officers for fiscal year 2015.

An official confirmation vote was held on Nov. 1 during the University of the Aftermarket Foundation’s annual board of trustees meeting.

The new slate of officers will assume their positions immediately and each will serve a one-year term:  

Chairman – Tim Lee, president, Lang Distributing

Vice Chairman – Jack Creamer, president, Distribution Marketing Services

Vice Chairman – Kathleen Schmatz, president and CEO, Auto Care Association

Treasurer – John Washbish, president and CEO, Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance

Secretary – Larry Pavey, president, Federated Auto Parts

“I would like to congratulate the new University of the Aftermarket Foundation officers and thank them for volunteering their time and expertise to such an esteemed organization,” Rusty Bishop, outgoing chairman of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation, said in a release. “The foundation has made great strides over the past several years, setting fundraising records and awarding more scholarships than ever before. The new officers, along with the board of trustees, are dedicated to ensuring a successful future for our industry and I know the next generation of aftermarket leaders will benefit from their generosity and commitment.”
