Continental Automotive Releases New Video Series

May 3, 2013

May 3, 2013—Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has released a new video in its tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) training series.

The new video, titled “TPMS Vehicle Relearn vs. TPMS Sensor Programming,” highlights the differences between a traditional TPMS vehicle relearn procedure and the new sensor programming procedure required by some universal and programmable TPMS sensors.

The video explains that many replacement sensors manufactured as blanks must be programmed with software for the specific vehicle application before they can be used. This is a new step that may require specialized training and new tools

The video contrasts these new sensors with VDO REDI-Sensor, a multi-application TPMS sensor that comes pre-programmed.
