Nov. 3, 2015—Federal-Mogul has announced on Monday its #PartsMatter automotive safety campaign, which is designed to communicate the importance of selecting quality products for every automotive repair.
Nearly 1,200 consumers and technicians have already helped the #PartsMatter message by sharing photos and video depicting part failures through social media and the www.partsmatter.com website. Participants in the campaign are eligible for Visa prepaid gift cards through an online sweepstakes and contest that will run through Dec. 20, 2015.
“This campaign appeals both to consumers, who want to be certain their vehicles are in safe, reliable operating condition, and professional technicians and shop owners, who understand the potential risks associated with many of the lower quality parts that have entered the North American market,” said Laura Soave, senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer, Federal-Mogul Motorparts. “Our ultimate goal is to help educate consumers to understand that the parts and service choices they make can affect the safety and reliability of their vehicles.”
Since the beginning of the campaign, Federal-Mogul Motorparts has awarded Visa cards valued at $100 to each of three weekly random winners, who shared photos or videos of part “fails” during the months of September and October.
