OEConnection Expands to Canada

Oct. 15, 2015

Oct. 15, 2015—OEConnection LLC (OEC) announced on Wednesday its expansion of RepairLink, its mechanical parts procurement solution, into Canada.

RepairLink, a web-based technology, allows dealers to provide mechanical repair shop customers with OE repair parts at competitive prices versus the aftermarket. Repair shops can access participating dealers’ inventories and purchase OE mechanical parts quickly and easily through the RepairLink Shop.

This expansion joins a number of OEC solutions available in Canada, including CollisionLink collision parts procurement, D2DLink part sourcing, D2DLink Plus and PartsBrokerDirect idle parts inventory reduction and D2D Express backorder fulfillment.

“We have seen great success with RepairLink in the U.S. and are excited to expand the solution to Canada,” said Ron Coill, executive vice president and chief financial officer.  “This was a long time coming for mechanical repair shops and OEM dealerships in Canada who have been asking for this. They will have a solution that enables them to buy/sell mechanical original equipment parts more efficiently and competitively against aftermarket or recycled parts.”

RepairLink is now available to Canadian franchised automotive dealerships and mechanical repair facilities.
