On-Site Car Repair Service Expands

Oct. 7, 2016

Oct. 7, 2016—After a soft beta launch in May, Wrench, an on-site car repair service, expanded its service throughout the greater Seattle-Tacoma-Everett metro area. Wrench is also prepared to expand its service to other western markets, beginning with Phoenix.

Wrench allows people to schedule their service online or through an app with upfront fixed pricing quotes. A Wrench mechanic will perform the service at the customer’s home or office. Wrench services all types of cars and trucks and all of its mechanics have passed background checks and are ASE certified.

“We learned from research that as many as 90 percent of car owners felt inconvenienced by their periodic trips to franchise shops and dealerships for car maintenance service,” said Edward Petersen, co-founder and CEO of Wrench. “Our launch results confirmed the ready demand for a new approach. What surprised us was the amount of business particularly given the limited marketing investment we made.”
