Sept. 2, 2014—Seven repair facilities in southern Nevada are being converted into Meineke franchise locations, according to a report in the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The move doubles the repair giant’s number of facilities in the area.
Formerly operating under the Auto Tech name, the multiple-shop operation was founded by Mike Murphy, who told the Review-Journal that the move is for branding purposes to add value to the business as he approaches retirement.
Meineke is part of Driven Brands, which also operates MAACO, Merlin, and Econo Lube, among others.
