Snap-on Introduces Compact Engine Starter

Sept. 21, 2016

Sept. 21, 2016—Snap-on released its new EEJP200M Lithium Ion Compact Engine Starter.

The EEJP200M has a two-amp USB port that operates as a power source to charge cell phones, tablets and other devices. The internal battery can be charged with an AC wall cable or DC cable from a vehicle, both included.

Snap-on said is easy enough to use for personal use, yet powerful enough for busy shops.

“Whether at work or at home, techs are expected to keep things moving, so it makes sense to have products that perform well in dual settings like this compact engine starter,” says David Brekke, Snap-on product manager. “The EEJP200M is designed to be powerful and handy during the work week performing in the shop and compact and transportable for weekend recreational use.”

The EEJP200M can be used on motorcycles engines as well as eight-cylinder engines. It can also operate effectively in below freezing conditions.

“Being stuck on the side of the road can be treacherous for anyone, even a seasoned technician. The EEJP200M goes to work where needed and its on-screen commands guide the user through operation,” says Brekke.
