VW Nears Compensation Deal

Dec. 19, 2016—Volkswagen Group is near a settlement to compensate consumers who own a second batch of diesel vehicles that were equipped with faulty emission software that were not included in the $15 billion dollar deal approved in October, according to a report by USA Today.


The hearing will be held today. Owners of the vehicles could qualify for a buy back or a free fix and compensation, according to the report.
