A new way to get Business-Building content

As we move into our fifth year of bringing you strategies and inspiration to help you improve and grow your business, we're continually looking for new and better ways to do it—ways to make it easier and more convenient for you.

Our latest offering, launched in January, gives you the chance to listen to some of the industry's top professionals as they speak with Ratchet+Wrench staff about their auto care careers, sharing insight and advice gleaned from real-world successes and failures. We call it Ratchet+Wrench Radio. It's a monthly podcast you can find at ratchetandwrench.com/rwradio, subscribe to and hear via several different apps.

The first podcast features staff writer Travis Bean talking with superstar columnist and industry veteran Mitch Schneider about his transition out of the family business. It's an emotional discussion that all shop operators should hear, as whether it's top of mind or not, succession planning is a must-do for any leader. Schneider's journey, still in motion, offers great insight into this important topic.

This month, I talk about converting to digital processes with editorial advisory board  member Ron Haugen, owner of  Westside Auto Pros in Des Moines, Iowa. Be sure to check back each month for new conversations. I hope you find this new offering both entertaining and valuable to your business.
