TIA Hires New Director of Marketing, Communications

LeAnn Harley will attempt to improve membership outreach, event and program awareness, social media engagement, and TIA's overall online presence.

Feb. 24, 2017—The Tire Industry Association (TIA) announced LeAnn Harley as its new director of marketing and communications.

Harley will lead strategic communications initiatives in the areas of membership outreach, public relations, event and program awareness, social media engagement, along with a focus on TIA's overall online presence.

Harley brings over 10 years of marketing and communications experience to TIA, in both the non-profit and for-profit industries. Throughout her career she has developed communications strategies including, online campaign management that has increased program membership and engagement, public relations outreach that has secured key media coverage, and marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness.

"I am excited to join the Tire Industry Association, especially with its great reputation of making safety and education a main concern for all," said Harley. "I look forward to working with the team while developing creative messaging to increase awareness and involvement."

LeAnn received a Bachelor's of Science in business administration with a concentration in marketing at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC.
