Technician Killed in Lift Accident

Lift safety is a huge issue for many automotive repair shops. The Automotive Lift Institute offers lift safety training classes, and recently updated an online training course that covers safe lifting practices. 

Dec. 12, 2017—A Richmond, Virginia, auto worker was killed after a car fell of a lift and landed on him Monday morning, WRIC reports.

Police told the station that a vehicle fell off a lift and landed on the victim, who was pronounced dead shortly after first responders arrived.
