July 10, 2018—Hofmann released the new geodyna 7340 wheel balancer.

Some of the key advantages of the new Hofmann geodyna 7340 Wheel Balancer include:

  • An automatic, non-contact rim width acquisition that Hoffman claims delivers a 30-percent savings in completion process when compared to manual operation.
  • An easyWeight pinpoint laser that identifies exact weight placement location.
  • A patented automatic power clamp that electromechanically clamps the wheel accurately with a constant force.

The geodyna 7340 also provides users with easyALU, which allows the user to touch the rim with the gauge arm to enter the rim dimensions as well as automatically select the weight balancing mode. The 7340 can be used by two operators simultaneously and quickly recall their rim dimensions.

“The new geodyna 7340 wheel balancer is ideal for service bays with minimal space, offering the perfect combination of high performance, a small footprint and accurate results,” said Kyle Harris, product manager for Hofmann. “Featuring patented geoTOUCH technology, the geodyna 7340 is simple to operate and features a wide, clear and intuitive touchscreen with large, easy-to-read digits.
