TRW Adds 54 New Parts to Brake Pad Line

Sept. 17, 2013—TRW Automotive Aftermarket has announced a range extension for its premium disc brake pad program in North America.

The range extension comprises 54 part numbers and will provide coverage for an additional 12 million vehicles. This brings the total number of references in the program to more than 800 and covers nearly 94 percent of the vehicles in operation in North America.

“Our main objective is to support our customers with the highest quality product and to ensure the safety message reaches every level of the supply chain,” said Mark Thorpe, product group manager at TRW Aftermarket North America. “By making sure that our range extensions are both timely and appropriate and by listening to our customers to ensure that we get the right mix, the market can have complete confidence in TRW.”
