Vatterott College in Kansas City closed its doors without a word, leaving students and staff members without an answer.

Jan. 23, 2019—Local college students and staff members are frustrated following the impromptu closing of a school. KMBC 9 reports that the local Vatterott College in Kansas City closed its doors without a word, leaving students and staff members without an answer.

Bernard Flucke, an automotive professor told KMBC 9 he was training automotive students anticipating mechanical careers when he lost his job. Flucke told KMBC 9 that one of his vehicle is still locked inside the building.

"I have a Ford pickup in there that we were using for a class project," Flucke said to KMBC 9. "I want to get it out. I've got some tires and some wheels in there that belong to me, and I've got a cabinet in there."

The school now features warnings to trespassers, KMBC 9 reports.

"And then right behind that is the repair shop where we had four bays, where we worked on the cars," Flucke said to KMBC 9.

According to KMBC 9, the school has not responded to the station and is currently in bankruptcy. Flucke has been unable to reach the school and has reported what's still inside the building.

"Let me know something so I can get in and get my stuff, and so I can let everybody else know so they can get their stuff out," Flucke said to KMBC 9
