Feb. 15, 2019—An auto repair shop in Michigan has been suspended after hiring uncertified mechanics, WDIV Local 4 reports. Amazin Auto Repair of Ferndale, Mich., allegedly continuously hired mechanics who weren't certified to properly service and repair vehicles, staff member of the secretary of state told WDIV Local 4.
According to WDIV Local 4, authorities report that the following additional violations were found at the repair shop: failing to reveal important information to a customer, charging for repairs not performed, providing a customer with an improper invoice, and also charging for the replacement of parts found still in the vehicle following the service.
