Feb. 19, 2019—Nearly 130,000 drivers have purchased hybrids and electric vehicles at CarMax, according to a report by the company.
Findings based on sales of hybrids and EVs revealed that the best-selling vehicle was the Toyota Prius, followed by the Ford C-Max, Lexus CT 200H, Ford Fusion and the Kia Optima 1.
Carmax found that most EV users are in California (6.38 percent), in addition to Oregon (5.69 percent), Washington (4.71 percent) and Arizona (3.82 percent). In addition, states with the lowest sales of hybrids and EVs were Louisiana (1.57 percent), Mississippi (1.54 percent) and Delaware (1.44 percent).
