March 21, 2019—Waymo will open another service center in Arizona, according to a report by TechCrunch. According to the publication, the new 85,000 square foot facility in Mesa, Ariz., is expected to open by the end of the year.
The other facility located in Chandler, Ariz., will remain, TechCrunch reports.
According to Waymo, the new center will become a second dispatch center, as well as a place to take care of and manage the fleet, TechCrunch reports.
