Snap-on Introduces Software Upgrade

Oct. 17, 2013

Oct. 17, 2013—Snap-on Diagnostics announced Wednesday the release of Software Upgrade 13.4 for its diagnostic tools. The upgrade is set to cover all major makes back to model year 1998.

The upgrade includes more than 47,400 new codes, tests, tips and data, and it is available to all VERUS, VERDICT, MODIS, SOLUS, ETHOS models and Vantage PRO owners.

“Every Snap-on software upgrade helps technicians get the answers they need fast to be even more productive, creating a greater profit opportunity,” said Bill Bruno, vice president of marketing for Snap-on Diagnostics. “And, an investment in more vehicle coverage can provide a 400 percent return on investment based on just one $20 diagnostic connection fee a day. We know that on average, a shop connects up to three vehicles per day–it more than pays for itself.”

Along with the 13.4 upgrade is an optional European coverage for general repair, driveability, body control and suspension issues for Audi, BMW, FIAT, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Smart Car, Volkswagen and Volvo.
