Auto repair shops around the nation are seeing a decrease in business due to the coronavirus outbreak.

April 7, 2020—Auto repair shops around the nation are seeing a decrease in business due to the coronavirus pandemic. According to a report from Central Illinois Proud, this includes shops in Peoria, Ill., as well.

According to the reprt, Beachler Vehicle Care and Repair has seen about a 15 percent decrease due to the lack of cars out on the road, and people not leaving their homes. Owner Brett Beachler said his company is continuing to employ his workers and taking extra precautions to keep his workers and customers safe.

To keep business moving and give back to the community, the repair shop is also offering a free oil change between April 3 and May 25 to anyone who works in the medical field.
