Report: COVID-19 Repair Order Activity

PureCars, a digital marketing platform, has released its newfound data on service repair order activity during the coronavirus pandemic.

May 6, 2020—New service insights from PureCars, an online marketing platform, dives into the service repair order activity, shopper engagement, social engagement, and the Google search term trends for the automotive dealers, according to a press release.

According to the release, April's repair order volume overall saw a sharp decline versus March, but has rebounded significantly in the last 10 days. Further, the last week of April saw a 27 percent increase in repair order volume, a 31 percent increase in fixed ops revenue, and a 5 percent increase in average dollars per repair order.

When it comes to social engagement, ad impressions on Facebook are up by 39 percent for the first quarter, with an average price per ad down 16 percent.
