A subscription service allows customers the ability to drive a vehicle for a monthly fee and also allows customers to switch among available vehicles. The monthly fee includes maintenance, and insurance, as well as pickup and delivery.
By integrating RepairPal into Dash, drivers can quickly diagnose their vehicle’s Check Engine Light code and connect with shops through the RepairPal Certified network. Through Dash, drivers can track their trips, hear real-time voice feedback and set maintenance notifications.
The "Delayed Vehicle Maintenance Tracking Study" evaluated consumers that have delayed routine maintenance parts and services. In total, 7.9 percent of consumers indicate they have delayed routine vehicle maintenance.
The videos, for consumers and auto service shops, explain the purpose and function of driver-assist systems—such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and brake assist—and the importance of proper mechanical and safety system alignment.
The most enlightening result for auto care shops comes when the survey explores how millennials handle the costs of owning a car. When asked, "Which of the following best describes your feeling after purchasing a car?" 39 percent of respondents were surprised by the maintenance costs, while 60.88 percent stated that they were not surprised.
