Icahn Automotive today unveiled renovated classrooms and hallways at Lincoln Technical Institute’s (Lincoln Tech) Philadelphia campus in an effort to invest in and support promising future automotive technicians.
The Auto Care Association (ACA) has selected the 2018 recipients of the Auto Care Internship Grant. Thirteen students received scholarships of $2,500 to contribute to the costs of round-trip travel from their permanent address to the internship location, lodging, utilities and food.
Scholarships totaling $130,000 have been awarded to 80 students working either to become a mechanical, collision or heavy duty repair professional or who are pursuing a business or engineering degree that will lead to a career in the automotive aftermarket.
The Import Vehicle Community and the Young Auto Care Network Group have selected Cory Martin, and Angela Golden as scholarship recipients to attend the highly acclaimed University of the Aftermarket’s 2018-2019 Leadership 2.0 Program.
AWDA made a record-setting donation of $95,000 to the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. The donation will be used to support the foundation’s scholarships and grants to help develop a strong, knowledgeable aftermarket workforce.
