Pennsylvania Auto Repair Shop Surprises Customer with Free Repairs for the Holidays

E-Motive Performance and Auto Repair provided more than $700 of repairs for a local mother.

In Berks County, Pennsylvania, a stop for low tire pressure turned into a heartwarming example of what it means to serve a community.

According to WFMZ, Nicole Tobia was planning a drive to Philadelphia for work when she saw that one of her tires was low on air. E-Motive Performance and Auto Repair in Maxatawny Township fit her in the schedule quickly, and while her car was being serviced, she talked with the owner about the work trip and the holidays. Tobia, a mother of a 4-year-old and a 5-year-old, was surprised to hear the owner tell her not to worry about paying anything for this visit. Grateful, she scheduled an oil change with E-Motive as well.

Much like her first visit, she was shocked to find out that there was no charge. The shop had covered the bill for not only her oil change, but a full brake and battery replacement as well. While the bill was more than $700, the act of charity proved to be far more valuable.

E-Motive owner Eston Deily Jr. said, "My business partner and I.... let's see what we can do to help."

Tobia said, "I started crying when I saw the bill, and it was paid for."
