Tesla Promises Roadster Repair Centers

Dec. 6, 2019
Tesla is now telling Roadster owners they will get their own dedicated service advisors, technicians and repair centers.

Dec. 6, 2019—Tesla is reaching out to Roadster owners and promising them a dedicated channel of service with its own service advisors, technicians and repair centers, reported CNBC.

In an email to Roadster owners, Jerome Guillen, Tesla's president of automotive, also invited Roadster owners to trade in their old cars and put the value towards buying a newer-model Tesla, or a reservation for a next-generation Roadster.

Tesla did not immediately respond to CNBC's requests for comments.

Delivering great service is increasingly important for automakers as new vehicle sales growth is slowing down overall, says Hans-Werner Kaas, Senior Partner at McKinsey and Company.
