Several years ago, our engineers, along with our New Product Department led by Brad Boeglin, began noticing a troubling pattern. Independent repair shops were seeing repeat failures in engines equipped with cylinder deactivation systems, particularly in lifters. Our goal was to develop a reliable parts-only solution that would keep these engines in service without recurring problems.
