Nov. 18, 2020—Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) has officially launched an automotive education program to instructors as they train new techs with hands-on skills they'll apply in the bay, according to a press release.
The virtual program provides instructors with additional training tools including video courses on ignition coil issues, testing and tips.
As students complete online courses successfully, students can earn certificates and gift packages to help their instructors outfit their classrooms.
After launching in September, over 1,000 students have already participated in Level 1 of the program and Level 2 courses will be available soon.
