2024 World Class Technicians Named by Auto Care Association and ASE

March 4, 2024
This year’s World Class Technicians said the title would be valuable for progressing in their career, as well as serving as a badge of honor.

The latest recipients of World Class Technician status have been announced by the Auto Care Association (ACA) and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in a recent press release.

For three decades now, the title has been given annually to technicians who have received ASE certification in 22 specific areas over the last calendar year.

Of the 887,000 technicians in the United States, 250,000 of them hold ASE certifications–of that number, only 2,289 have attained World Class Technician status.

Upon a survey of this year’s World Class Technicians by ACA, they said the title would be valuable for progressing in their career, as well as serving as a badge of honor.

“Becoming a World Class Technician is a status that I believe shows your dedication to excellence in the industry,” said Jacob Schoessler, who works at a Christian Brothers Automotive location in Grimes, Iowa. “I strive to be as knowledgeable as possible to help teach and inspire those around me. Becoming a part of this exclusive group of technicians is something I can truly be proud of.”
