Today’s Class will be translating its auto repair training program to offer Spanish sessions as well, according to a recent press release.
The translation effort will be rolled out in phases. Currently, Today’s Class has translated content deemed relevant for the largest group of users. This includes sessions on brakes, lubrication service, tire and wheel service, steering and suspension, and safety.
The organization plans to implement the second phase of translations this year, which will include sessions on electrical systems, engine performance, advanced driver-assistance systems, and more advanced topics.
The first half of this year, new topics in English are slated to be launched, including Engine Operation, Electrical Foundations, and Service Advisor: Starter Systems. Additional topics being developed for release in late spring include an electrical/electronic diagnostics series, ADAS Static Calibration, Engine Diagnosis, and ADAS for Service Advisors.
As Today’s Class progresses, the organization’s goal is to one day release new topics in both English and Spanish simultaneously.
“Ongoing education and training are critical for keeping technicians up to date with new automobile technology,” said Daniel Costa of Marin Automotive in Fairfax, California. “The Spanish content from Today’s Class is enhancing our technicians’ understanding of technical concepts while emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and staying sharp every day.”
