March 26, 2019—Pennsylvania has a new auto repair shop. Newcome Auto Repair in Coolspring, Pa., is being run by duo Ethan and Haley Newcome, The Courier Expressreports.
The idea for the shop came together after both Haley and Ethan graduated, the publication reports, where Ethan wanted to branch out and start his own business doing what he loved. Within a year, the shop came to life.
“It was just a field before. This property has been in his family for four generations. It was his great-grandfather’s and then it was passed down. That’s why we wanted to do it here,” Haley Newcome said.
The families of the two helped out in the venture and both Haley and Ethan work together at the shop. Ethan handles the mechanical side and scheduling while Haley works with on the secretarial end.
The two divide the work equally, with Haley taking care of the secretarial end and Ethan taking care of the mechanical end and scheduling.
“She’s good with customers and that helps me out,” Ethan said to The Courier Express.
