Aug. 27, 2020—A Hellertown, Pa., auto shop that resides in a cool historic building got a bit of facelift recently, which attracted the local press.
The Saucon Source has the story of Superior Auto, which has been in business since 1989. The building got new signage, new glass and a bright roof to attract some attention, but the structure has a neat history.
Built in 1919, the building once housed a Chevrolet dealership, which, according to a historical photo, included a gasoline pump as a customer perk.
Get the story, as well as an original photo of the dealership building, over at the newspaper's website.
