Oct. 5, 2022—Ted Hughes has joined the Auto Care Association as the community engagement senior director and Aftermarket Warehouse Distributors Association executive director.
According to a press release, Hughes has dedicated over 20 years to the aftermarket. Most recently, he was the head of marketing for MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. Hughes has also served as vice chair of the Auto Care Association’s Marketing Communications Committee since 2020 and as the chair of the Marketing Executives Committee for AASA.
As senior director of community engagement, Hughes will work with engagement strategies that impact current and prospective members. As executive director of AWDA, Hughes will give administrative support to AWDA organizational activities that also works to strengthen engagement, growth and retention efforts.
