Rob Pietrowsky, vice president of research at IMR, will be a speaker at the upcoming Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference, taking place October 8–10 in Glendale, Arizona.

Pietrowsky leads all syndicated data, custom research and analytics activities at IMR. Prior to his current role, he spent 12 years at DRiV Automotive (a division of Tenneco; formerly Federal-Mogul), most recently as director of market intelligence and category management.

While at DRiV, Pietrowsky’s team developed analytics tools designed to tackle sales tracking and assortment planning challenges, with an emphasis on collaboration between manufacturer and distributors. Earlier in his career, Pietrowsky led automotive forecasting at Koyo Bearings/JTEKT USA. His automotive career began at The ITB Group, where he was involved in OE market research and vehicle benchmarking for instrumental panels, fuel systems, exhaust systems, glass and exterior plastics.

In this session, “Voice of the Shop: Insights on Tariffs, Trucks, Technicians and More,” he'll be speaking on how the big change in U.S. administrative direction is having a big impact on consumers and the automotive industry. We’ll look at data direct from vehicle owners and repair shops to see what’s changing and how shops are responding. The insights we cover will also help vehicle service and repair professionals prepare for what’s next.

More speaker announcements are slated to come in the coming weeks. Follow Ratchet+Wrench on social media to stay tuned to see what’s in store for RWMC this year—and don’t forget to grab your spot and register.
