May 20, 2022—Sun Auto Tire & Service Inc. has announced its expansion into Oregon.
According to a press release, Sun Auto has acquired Good Neighbor Tire & Auto Service, which has two locations in Oregon and two in Washington.
The two Oregon locations mark Sun Auto's first in the state.
“We are excited to continue expanding our footprint in the Northwestern United States, which has grown 80 percent since September 2021,” said Sun Auto Tire & Service’s Vice President of Development Chris Garman in the press release. “We look forward to working with the skilled, trusted team at Good Neighbor and upholding the quality service they are known for among their customers and within their communities.”
The two acquired locations in Washington will be number 15 and 16 in the state for Sun Auto.
“Sun Auto Tire & Service shares many traits that Good Neighbor is known for,” said Good Neighbor Store Manager Brett Baumgarte in the press release. “They conduct their business with high standards, appreciate their customers and provide opportunities for their employees. As we embark on the next journey of our professional careers, we are excited to join the Sun Auto family.”
