Tekmetric has introduced a paid add-on to its subscription service that integrates tire management tasks with its software, according to a recent press release.
The Tekmetric Tire Suite is $39 per month, per shop, and allows shops to access tire specifications, as well as register and send tire Department of Transportation identification numbers, from the Tekmetric app.
With the add-on, tire specifications can be accessed directly through Tekmetric’s Repair Order (RO) sidebar to identify compatible tires for a specific vehicle. Users will also receive error messages in the event of a tire recall or invalid DOT number.
“By expanding our platform with this tailored feature set, we empower tire shops and auto repair businesses to streamline their operations and elevate customer service,” stated Tekmetric’s Chief Technology Officer, Taylor Fuqua.
