Following the death of her husband and business partner, Caitlin Morgan is seeking help to ensure their Missouri shop and her husband’s legacy continue.
The Midwest Auto Care Alliance recently reached out to its members for support following the death of Josh Morgan, who owned KC Auto Solutions in Independence, Missouri, alongside his wife Caitlin. The two first opened the business in 2017.
Josh, who had been battling brain cancer for two years, was told in July that his condition had worsened. Days later, on Aug. 1, he passed away at the age of 43.
In his absence, his wife and brother, Jonathan, are now working to preserve his legacy and continue the business they built alongside Josh, who had been an automotive technician since graduating from high school in 1999.
A GoFundMe link to support the family and shop has been made available, though MWACA has noted that support of any kind is welcome for the family during this time.
“Your donations, whether financial or through your time and expertise, will make a tremendous difference in helping Caitlin and Jonathan keep the business going during this challenging period,” wrote MWACA.
