Aug. 31, 2016—The Automotive Management Institute (AMi) announced Tuesday that it recently held a graduation ceremony on Aug. 12 for its 2016 class at the Sheraton Park Hotel in Anaheim, Calif.
"In their pursuit of professionalism, these graduates have demonstrated dedication to improving their skills and knowledge," AMi chairman Sheri Hamilton said. "I am honored to know many of this year's graduates and they have placed education as a priority to make a difference in their careers, workplace and industry. This year's class of AAMs and AMAMs are empowered with knowledge to be the current and future leaders of the automotive service industry."
The ceremony honored the 22nd class of Accredited Automotive Managers (AAMs). The graduating class included 23 professionals who completed the program. The event also recognized 59 members of the first class of Accredited Master Automotive Managers (AMAMs).
"It was an honor to recognize these two elite groups of professionals and add them to an impressive list of past AMi graduates. It is important to acknowledge the accomplishments represented by the AAM and now the new AMAM designations and its connection to improved business and personal performance. Learning truly is the only source of a sustainable competitive advantage and this group is a great example of that," AMi president Jeff Peevy said.
