April 17, 2013—Hahn Automotive Warehouse, Inc. recently announced a definitive deal to acquire E&L Battery and Ignition Co.
Hahn, based out of Rochester, N.Y., and E&L, located in Newark, N.J., are both warehouse distributors of automotive aftermarket parts.
Hahn decided to acquire E&L based on the company’s performace as a well-managed business with a commitment to growth and customer service in the New Jersey market.
Steven Blumenkranz, president of E&L, will remain with the company after the completion of the transaction.
