Jan. 7, 2016—On Wednesday, CARDONE Industries released its A1 CARDONE remanufactured Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF).
CARDONE DPFs are function-tested prior to being remanufactured. Once they pass the function test, they are cleaned to remove loose particulate matter and then baked at high temperatures to reach required performance levels. After reassembly, the units are media-blasted and coated to restore the exterior appearance and increase corrosion protection. After that, each unit is flow tested to on-car exhaust levels to verify it meets OE performance standards for performance and reliability.
