March 7, 2019—Construction could start this summer on an NTB Tire & Service store off Friendship and Spout Springs roads in South Hall., Ga.
The national auto service chain would be at 2137 Friendship Road, or near the Publix-anchored shopping center and other businesses popping up in a fast-developing area of Braselton.
The NTB could open in the winter of 2019, spokeswoman Jamie Levin said.
The 6,000-square-foot shop will have eight vehicle bays and feature tire, oil, alignment and other services, she said.
The project, which recently got approvals from the town of Braselton, ran into an issue last year when nearby residents said they were concerned the business might be too noisy.
NTB ended up making changes to ensure that “open bays and operations are facing internally to the shopping center and away from single-family residences … to reduce noise to the greatest extent possible,” lawyer Ellen Smith said in a letter to town officials.
